Cable Drop definition

Cable Drop means the cable or other wires extending from the attachment ------------ pole to the subscriber receiving cable service, and that conducts the cable system signal from the attachment pole to the subscribers receiving or transmitting equipment. "Cable Drop" shall include the cable that is installed within the structure receiving the Cable Service and the transformer that matches the impedance of the cable to the input leads of the receiving equipment.

Examples of Cable Drop in a sentence

  • The Licensee shall provide, install and maintain a Subscriber Cable Drop and Outlet and Basic Service to any other Public Buildings and schools along the Cable System plant route as designated in writing by the Issuing Authority, however if a Cable Drop is greater than 150’ in distance from the existing Trunk and Distribution System along the Cable System plant route the cost of said installation shall be paid for by the Town.

  • The Licensee shall provide, install and maintain a Subscriber Cable Drop and Outlet and Basic Service to any other Public Buildings and schools along the Cable System plant route as designated in writing by the Issuing Authority.

  • Cable System or “System” means a facility, consisting of a set of closed transmission paths and associated signal generation, reception, and control equipment that is designed to provide Cable Service which includes Video Programming and which is provided to multiple Subscribers within a community, but such term does not include:

  • Cable Services means the transmission by cable of programs including retransmission by cable of any satellite television signals.

  • Automated teller machine means a device, linked to a financial institution's account records, which is able to carry out transactions, including, but not limited to: account transfers, deposits, cash withdrawals, balance inquiries, and mortgage and loan payments.

  • Cable Service means the one-way transmission to Subscribers of video programming or other programming service, and Subscriber interaction, if any, which is required for the selection or use of such video programming or other programming service.

  • Merchant A.C. Transmission Facility means Merchant Transmission Facilities that are alternating current (A.C.) transmission facilities, other than those that are Controllable A.C. Merchant Transmission Facilities.
