BWBS definition
BWBS means the Boreal White and Black Spruce, its subzones and variants. “SBS” means the Sub-Boreal Spruce, its subzones and variants.

The BWBS zone is very important for wintering ungulates; frequent forest fires over the years have formed a mosaic of upland forests of different ages, providing a variety of habitats.
