Buyer’s Representative definition

Buyer’s Representative means the authorized Purchasing Agent or Subcontract Manager representing Buyer; “Counterfeit Part” means a part that is an unauthorized copy or substitute that has been identified, marked, and/or altered by a source other than the item’s legally authorized source and has been misrepresented to be an authorized part of the legally authorized source. This definition includes used parts represented as new parts.‌

Buyer’s Representative means the authorized Purchasing Agent or Subcontract Manager representing Buyer;

Buyer’s Representative means the agent of Buyer with the actual authority to make legally binding commitments on behalf of Buyer as designated on the Purchase Order or Subcontract.

Examples of Buyer’s Representative in a sentence

• Seller represents and warrants that it is either 1) a U.S. Person as that term is defined in the Export Laws and Regulations, or 2) a Foreign Person as that term is defined in the Export Laws and Regulations and has disclosed to Buyer’s Representative in writing the country in which it is incorporated/authorized/ organized to do business, and all nationalities of any dual or third-country national employees who will require access to the data, articles or services provided hereunder.

• If Seller considers that Buyer’s conduct constitutes a change, Seller shall notify Buyer’s Representative immediately in writing as to the nature of such conduct and its effect upon Seller’s performance.

• Unless otherwise directed in writing by Buyer’s Representative, all documentation requiring submittal to, or action by, the Government or the Contracting Officer shall be routed to, or through, Buyer’s Representative, or as otherwise permitted by this Order.

• Seller’s claim for adjustment must be submitted in writing in the form of a complete change proposal, fully supported by factual information to Buyer’s Representative within thirty (30) days from the date Buyer issued the change order.

• Changes shall not be binding upon Buyer, except when confirmed in writing by Buyer’s Representative.
