If possible, application for leave of absence on Union business will be made to the Business Unit Manager not less than two (2) weeks prior to such leave.

Permanent employees entitled to three weeks vacation or more shall be entitled to bank up to a maximum of ten (10) working days annual vacation with Business Unit Manager approval.
If the employee requires traveling time exceeding the maximum of three (3) scheduled work days of allowed compassionate leave, the employee may apply to the Business Unit Manager for traveling time up to a maximum of two (2) days.
