Business Critical Function definition
Business Critical Function means and refers to functions that must be restored in the event of a disruption to ensure Service Recipient’s ability to meet its regulatory responsibilities and/or continue its business operations, in each case, is not significantly impaired.
Business Critical Function means an application or module on which a business relies to carry out normal business operations and which keep the business running smoothly but is not vital to the organisation’s survival. Response: Initial response will be by automated message as an acknowledgement of receipt. The automated responses are followed up by a call made by the Aareon support team to the affected customer within the Response times stated in the table above. In the case of Priority 1 calls the Aareon support team will make an initial additional call with the customer for information gathering as soon as possible after the automated message is sent.

Examples of Business Critical Function in a sentence
Priority 1 Software core functionality is not available for all Users Priority 2 Buyer’s core operations not affected but Business Critical Function not available for more than one User.
Priority 3 Buyer’s core operations and Business Critical Function is unaffected but the issue is affecting efficient operation by the majority of Users of non-core functionality.
