Burn day, definition
Burn day, or “permissive-burn day” means any day on which agricultural burning, including prescribed burning, is not prohibited by the state board within the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District and is authorized by the Air Pollution Control Officer consistent with District regulations related to open outdoor fires.
Burn day, means a day, as determined by the Agency, during which outdoor burning may take place in areas where outdoor burning is allowed. The length of the burn day is defined as the period from 9:00 AM until one hour before sunset.
Burn day,. A "No Burn Day" means any day on which agricultural burning is prohibited by the Air Resources Board or the District. A "Permissive Burn Day" means any day on which agricultural burning is not prohibited by the Air Resources Board. The District may declare any Permissive Burn Day designated by the State Air Resources Board to be a No Burn Day if necessary to maintain suitable air quality.
