Burial Resources definition

Burial Resources means human remains, meaning all physical remains of a human body of a person of American Indian ancestry, even if in fragmentary form unless it is determined that the human remain had been freely given or naturally shed by the individual from whose body it was obtained, such as hair made into ropes or nets or individual teeth. For the purposes of determining cultural affiliation, human remains incorporated into a funerary object, sacred object, or object of cultural patrimony, are considered as part of that item and as a cultural resource item.
