Building Standard Materials definition

Building Standard Materials means materials that are consistent in terms of quantity and quality with the standards established by Landlord for interior improvements in the Building from time to time. All Tenant Improvements must be equal to or better than the Building Standard Materials.
Building Standard Materials means such materials described in Exhibit H attached hereto, or materials of comparable quality substituted therefor by Landlord. Except for Building Standard Hardware and items pre-installed by Landlord, Tenant may, but is not obligated to, purchase Building Standard Materials. Tenant shall be obligated to buy Building Standard Hardware and all items pre-installed by Landlord. Tenant may also be obligated to utilize and pay for certain other Building Standard Materials in accordance with Section 3.01(c) herein. Contractor shall mean the party selected in accordance with Article 5 herein to do the Tenant Improvements. Change Order shall mean any alteration, substitution, addition or change to or in the Tenant Space Plans or Tenant Improvement Construction Documents requested by Tenant after the same have been consented to by Landlord. Completion Date shall mean the date of Substantial Completion of Tenant Improvements under the Tenant Improvement Construction Documents. Construction Contract shall mean the agreement to be entered between Tenant and Contractor for the construction of the Tenant Improvements. Design Allowance shall mean Two Dollars Seventy-five Cents ($2.75) multiplied by the number of rentable square feet in the Premises. Substantial Completion or Substantially Complete shall be as described in Section 3.04 hereof. Tenant’s Architect shall mean Rule, Joy, Trammell + ▇▇▇▇▇, LLC.
Building Standard Materials means the quantity, quality, and style of materials, finishes, and workmanship to be used during construction of the Leasehold Improvements, which may be specified or changed from time to time by Landlord, in Landlord’s sole discretion, for the Building.

  • The cost of such Building Standard Materials shall be charged against the Allowance, to the extent available.

  • All Suite Improvements other than (a) “Building Shell” (as described in Schedule 1) or (b) those that utilize materials in addition to, substitution for or modification of the Building Standard Materials are called herein “Above-Standard Suite Improvements”.

  • All equipment and installations shall be made in accordance with Landlord's Building Standard Materials and Finishes and procedures unless a deviation is shown on Tenant's Plan and approved by Landlord.

  • Building Standard Materials shall mean the quality and type of materials and finishes in the Building as of the Date of this Lease.

  • The quality of the Initial Installation shall be equal to or of greater quality than those Building Standard Materials and’ Finishes as more particularly described on Schedule 1 attached hereto (the “Building Standards”); provided that Landlord shall have the right to require that Tenant not deviate from certain of the Building Standards by providing notice of such requirement prior to the adoption of the Final Plans.

  • If Landlord elects to construct tenant improvements in the Expansion Space, the tenant improvements in the Expansion Space shall (i) utilize Building Standard Materials (as defined in Exhibit C), (ii) include building standard and fully operable mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and (iii) be configured in a flexible, open floor plan with an appropriate number of interior conference rooms for a space of that size (all of the foregoing being collectively, the “Qualifying Improvements”).

  • The following items or equivalents, are Building Standard Materials that are required for all tenant improvement projects.


More Definitions of Building Standard Materials

Building Standard Materials means a comparable quality and type of material, fixtures and finishes as those currently being used by Landlord and its Affiliates in the construction of prebuilt units throughout its commercial office leasing portfolio in New York City.

Related to Building Standard Materials

  • Building Standard means the type, grade, brand, quality and/or quantity of materials Landlord designates from time to time to be the minimum quality and/or quantity to be used in the Building.

  • Building materials means such commodities or articles as are specified by the Administrator by notification to be building materials for the purposes of this Act;

  • Standard Materials means all Materials not specified as Custom Materials.

  • Building Systems means any electrical, mechanical, structural, plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, sprinkler, life safety or security systems serving the Building.

  • Building system means plans, specifications and docu- mentation for a system of manufactured building or for a type or a system of building components, which may include structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and variations which are sub- mitted as part of the building system.
