Building Security System. As described in this section, Landlord shall provide security system and procedures for the Building consistent with other similar projects in the South of Market submarket. Landlord shall have the right to lock the main entry door of the Building and control elevator access at any time of day, or day of week, in order to maintain the security of the Building. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Tenant will be provided with access codes and/or FOB keys to enter the Building and operate the elevator during all times, i.e., Tenant, its permitted subtenants and their employees, licensees and guests, shall have access to the Premises at all times, twenty-four (24) hours per day, every day of the year, subject to such after-normal business hour security procedures as Landlord may require. Tenant shall have the right, at Tenant’s sole cost and expense, to install its own security system (which may be a card system) in the Premises and/or provide Tenant’s own security system, which shall be compatible with Landlord’s existing Building security system, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40 and subject to Landlord’s approval, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned, or delayed.
