Building Control Advisor definition

Building Control Advisor means an independent advisor appointed by the Contractor for the purpose of carrying out the functions of the Building Control Adviser pursuant to Schedule S3-2 Building Regulations and Crown Fire Standards, including but not limited to the issue of the Compliance of Design Certificate (BSCS C1) and Construction Compliance Certificate (BSCS C3);

  • Building Contractor means, subject to paragraphs (4) and (5), a person carrying on any business in the building or construction industry;

  • Building Contract means a contract entered into between the Grant Recipient and a Building Contractor relating to the construction, repair, refurbishment, conversion, development and/or Rehabilitation (as applicable) of a Firm Scheme; Building Contractor means any building contractor or developer appointed or to be appointed by the Grant Recipient in respect of a Firm Scheme; Business Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a statutory Bank Holiday in England;

  • Control Area(s) means an electric power system or combination of electric power systems to which a common automatic generation control scheme is applied.

  • Engineering control means the use of substitution, isolation, ventilation, and equipment modification to reduce exposure to SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19 disease related workplace hazards and job tasks.

  • PJM Control Area means the Control Area recognized by NERC as the PJM Control Area.
