Budget Reduction definition

Budget Reduction means a reduction in revenues and/or expenditures. Budget reductions require adoption by resolution of the Board of Commissioners after public notice of the meeting when they are to be considered.

Examples of Budget Reduction in a sentence

  • The District will pay the cost of such medical premiums during the first month following layoff and such coverage may be continued by the employee under the Comprehensive Omnibus Budget Reduction Act (COBRA) provided the employee pays the premium.
