Brix means the degrees Brix of the liquid media surrounding the canned grapefruit and orange fruit for salad when tested with a Brix hydrometer cali­ brated at 20 degrees C. (68 degrees P.) If the liquid media is tested at a tempera­ ture other than 20 degrees C.
