Borstal School definition

Borstal School means a place in which young offenders whilst detained in pursuance of this Act, are given such industrial training and other instructions and are subject to such other disciplinary and moral influences as will conduce to their reformation and the prevention of crime;
Borstal School means a corrective institution wherein adolescent offenders, while detained in pursuance of this Act, are given such industrial or agricultural training and other instruction and are subjected to such disciplinary and moral influences as will conduce to their reformation and the prevention of crime;

Related to Borstal School

  • special school means a school classified as a special school under the Education Act 1964.

  • Local school board means a board elected under Title 20A, Chapter 14, Part 2,

  • Medical school means an accredited program for the training of individuals to become physicians.

  • Local school district means any school district in the State except the South Carolina Public Charter School District and does not include special school districts.

  • University means the university of Montana-Missoula.
