bonded labor definition

bonded labor means forced, or partly forced, labor under which a debtor enters, into an agreement to render, labor or service to the creditor either by himself or through any member of his family, for a specified period or for any unspecified period, either without wages or for nominal wages. So if a person provides labor or service to another for remuneration less than the minimum wage, the labor or service falls within the scope and ambit of the words forced labor under the constitution.
