To be eligible for selection players must: • Acknowledge that they are prepared to operate within MWBA policy and guidelines by signing the Representative Player Agreement. • Must attend the full try-out phase as determined by Manly-Warringah Basketball Association (Any absences must be explained, communicated to and approved by MWBA) • Pay the appropriate fees, & have a current Primary BNSW registration with MWBA.
Injuries must be reported via the BNSW Injury Report Form for any injuries sustained during training and games.
MWBA will assist players selected in BNSW State Teams and coaches with costs involved in attending their respective National Championships.
Fundraising which involves The City of Blacktown Basketball Association – STORM Representative Program in any way must be approved by the CBBA Representative Committee to ensure that members are covered by the Associations insurance (through BNSW) while fundraising.
Promote and abide by all TBA, BNSW, and Basketball Australia’s Codes of Conduct and policies.
All MWBA Representative Players are required to purchase team uniforms as detailed: Representative Shorts - $45 Reversible Training Singlet - $45 Warm up Top - $45 MWBA Hoodie - $45 All players must have a current Primary BNSW registration.
