Block Funding definition

Block Funding means the funding for: - hospital services that are not activity-based funded, and are functions and services based on a fixed amount (i.e. Non-Admitted Mental Health (NAMH), Teaching, Training and Research (TTR) and Small Rural Hospitals (SRH)); and, - non-hospital services.
Block Funding means that portion of the Funding, if any, set out in Schedule 3 under the heading “Block Funding”.
Block Funding also means ‘contract-based funding to providers’. At present, block funding mainly refers to services or supports that are funded through grant agreements under the CHSP.

Block Funding means funding for those services which are outside the scope of ABF. Not current version. Own Source Revenue (OSR) means, as per Section G3 of the National Healthcare Agreement, ‘private patients, compensable patients and ineligible persons may be charged an amount for public hospital services as determined by the State and Territory’. Block Funding means funding transferred to the Council pursuant to this Agreement for the provision of Block Funded Services.
