Biodegradable packaging definition

Biodegradable packaging means packaging that is capable of undergoing physical and biological decomposition so that it eventually breaks down into carbon dioxide (CO2), biomass and water and is, in accordance with European packaging standards, recoverable through composting and anaerobic digestion;
Biodegradable packaging means any packaging other than plastic or Styrofoam®.”
