Berlin und Wien definition

Berlin und Wien. Chapter—Kaus back in Vienna and Berlin The last chapter of Kaus’s autobiography, “Berlin und Wien,” ends with a journey, like her first. This time her trip takes her back to Europe. This chapter is contrary to the previous ones characterized by Kaus’s growing unwillingness to (re)adapt to her former home country. Her descriptions of her native city, Vienna, are marked by estrangement and feelings of alienation.
