Behavioral emergency definition

Behavioral emergency means a situation in which an individual's behavior appears to present imminent danger to the individual or to others.
Behavioral emergency means the demonstration of a serious behavior problem which has not previously been observed and for which a behavioral intervention plan has not been developed, or for which a previously designed behavioral intervention is not effective. (5 CCR § 3001(c).)
Behavioral emergency means the occurrence of an unanticipated challenging/dangerous behavior exhibited by an individual that has not occurred before, or that has occurred no more than one time during a six month period.
