BEACH SHACK definition
BEACH SHACK means a building that is in or within close proximity to beach areas and is used for harvesting purposes or other purposes related to the owners’ participation in the land-based economy. Beach Shack are not to be used for human habitation. Beach Shacks shall not exceed 18 m2 (193.7 ft2) in gross floor area.

BEACH SHACK means a purely temporary stall on such material, size and design and for such activities on the beach as the government may, by notification in the official gazette, specified;6. ‘black list’ means the list of dealers, hotel keepers or travel agents black listed under the provisions of this Regulation and maintained by prescribed authority and exhibited at the places as may be prescribed;7. ‘boat’ includes a house-boat, motor-boat, motor launch, pedal boat, sailing boat, para sailing, canoe, kayak, Live aboard vessel and yacht exclusively for tourism purpose;8. ‘certificate’ means a certificate of registration issued under any of the provisions of this Regulation;9. ‘chair’ means chair made up of wood/steel/plastic or standard size;10. ‘dealer’ means a person carrying on in a tourist area the business of selling any notified article, whether whole sale or retail and whose sock or turnover of the said notified article exceeds 50% of their total stock or turnover and includes his agent or employee transacting business on his behalf;11. ‘deckbed’ means bed made up of wood or steel or plastic, of size 6’ x 3’, with or without mattress;12. “domestic Tourist” means Tourist who is an Indian Citizen;13. ‘equipment’ means any equipment or item used for the purpose of conducting adventure sports;14. ‘foreign Tourist’ means tourist who is not an Indian Citizen;15. ‘guide’ means a person who engages himself as a paid guide for tourists.
