BCEX definition

BCEX is defined as compensation for authorized work performed in excess of the member’s normal work schedule. Such work is defined in Article 11.1 and shall be compensated at the following rate of pay: 1. Platoon Battalion Chiefs shall be paid at 1.5 times the base hourly rate of pay of a Platoon Battalion Chief (calculated using 2505.36 hours per year as the denominator and the annualized salary in Appendix A as the numerator). 2. Administrative Battalion Chiefs shall be paid at 1.5 times the base hourly rate of pay of an Administrative Battalion Chief (only for purposes of determining a BCEX rate, calculated using 2505.36 hours per year as the denominator and the annualized salary in Appendix A as the numerator).

Examples of BCEX in a sentence

  • During this forty-eight (48) hours off the employee is not eligible for BCEX.

  • Members may request to receive BCEX as comp time, in lieu of pay.

  • Examples of BCEX include:  Staffing at emergency incidents;  Staffing of Battalion 101 or Battalion 102, etc.;  Authorized/required departmental meetings (such as Operations meetings, Officer/Platoon meetings);  Authorized/required departmental training classes;  Special projects or assignments as assigned by the Fire Chief or their designee.

  • Whilst working in BCEX venues (Harpur Suite, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Room & Corn Exchange), volunteers will be covered by the BCEX (Borough Council) insurance policy.

  • Bargaining unit members will receive two (2) hours of critical incident pay plus all hours actually worked per call out at the BCEX rate.

  • All BCEX must be pre- approved by the Fire Chief or their designee.

  • Bargaining unit members are eligible for critical incident pay (at the BCEX rate) when called outside of their regular work hours to the scene of a critical incident that requires command and control responsibilities or the staffing of additional command positions or units, so long as the employee is not already scheduled for duty during those hours.

  • BTCo means Bankers Trust Company, in its individual capacity, and any successor corporation thereto by merger, consolidation or otherwise.

  • BCI means Broadcasting Commission of Ireland;

  • DGPC means Druk Green Power Corporation Limited including its successors and permitted assigns;

  • Newco has the meaning set forth in the first paragraph of this Agreement.

  • CMBI means Chase Manhattan Bank International, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank, located in Moscow, Russia, and any nominee companies appointed by it.
