Fleet Safety Trainer is a Vehicle Tradesman/woman with a Commercial Transport BC Trade Qualification who provides training on the safe use of vehicles, vehicle equipment and how to conduct safety inspections of this equipment.
Maintenance employees holding a valid B.C. Trade Ticket or its equivalent shall be compensated for at the rate of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour added to their base rate.
Where the only suitable applicant does not have B.C. Trade qualifications, the matter shall be discussed with the Apprenticeship Committee.
