BC Energy Step Code definition
BC Energy Step Code means the requirements set out in Part 14 of this Bylaw and Division B, Part 9 and 10 of the Building Code.
BC Energy Step Code means the system of energy performance requirements set out in Subsections 9.36 and10.2.3 of the Building Code. “ENERGY ADVISOR” means a consultant registered by a Service Organization licensed by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to deliver NRC’s EnerGuide Rating System for New Homes and R-2000 programs. “WORKS AND SERVICES” means the works and services referred to in Section 24.
BC Energy Step Code means the whole build energy analysis as outlined in the BC Building Code 2018 (including Revision 2) Division B, Part 10.2.3;
Examples of BC Energy Step Code in a sentence
The Owner will design, construct and maintain on the Land at least one residential dwelling unit, in accordance with the District of Ucluelet Building Bylaw No. 1165, 2014, as amended or replaced from time to time, and in accordance with the energy efficiency standards of Step 1 of the BC Energy Step Code.
Staff are satisfied that this meets the City’s BC Energy Step Code Rezoning Policy.
The building must not be occupied, and the Owner will not apply for and the District will not be obliged to issue an occupancy permit, until the Owner has supplied documentation that each dwelling unit has achieved compliance with the BC Energy Step Code level 1.
