Base Work definition

Base Work means the Site conditions including work carried out by others in, on, or over which the Contractor is to carry out the Works;
Base Work means the site conditions, including work carried out by others on or over which the trade contractor is to carry out the trade works;

Examples of Base Work in a sentence

  • Unless the government exercises its option pursuant to the option clause contained in ARTICLE I.2, the contract consists only of the Base Work segment specified in the Statement of Work as defined in SECTONS C and F, for the price set forth in ARTICLE B.2 of the contract.

Related to Base Work

  • Additional Work means services outside the Agreement’s initial scope of Work, which may be added by Thornton. Additional Work may be negotiated separately and must be approved in writing by Thornton in an executed Change Order prior to performance.

  • piece-work means any work the pay for which is estimated by the amount of work performed irrespective of the time occupied in its performance;

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.
