The basis for determination of these components is described below. Fully-Burdened Labor Cost is calculated by extending the number of FTEs ------------------------- charged to a particular project by the FTE Rate. The FTE Rate results from Targeted's cost accounting system, which generally pools and allocates costs in the following manner. . Direct labor charges include salaries and related payroll taxes. . Each functional group has an indirect cost pool associated with it. These costs include the following and are allocated to projects based on direct labor: . Employee benefits include medical, dental and insurance benefits, ----------------- bonuses, 401(k) expenses, transit and parking, company-wide training and employee assistance. . Indirect lab supplies are general use supplies that are low dollar --------------------- amount or not applicable to individual projects. .
