Base Technologies definition

Base Technologies means technologies, techniques and formulations for the administration of an active agent to a mammal: (i) in formulations of the active agent with one or more substantially inert ingredients, including, without limitation, tonicity modifiers and bulking agents; or (ii) with or through devices or mechanical targeting systems or mechanical delivery systems (other than Elan's MEDIPAD(R) Drug Delivery System or devices utilizing autoinjector technology);

[*] [*] Confidential Treatment Requested Exhibit C Targeted's Actual Development Costs Targeted's Actual Development Costs with respect to a project are comprised of three separate cost components: Fully-Burdened Labor Cost, Direct Project Costs, and Internal Service Costs. The basis for determination of these components is described below. Fully-Burdened Labor Cost is calculated by extending the number of FTEs ------------------------- charged to a particular project by the FTE Rate. The FTE Rate results from Targeted's cost accounting system, which generally pools and allocates costs in the following manner. .
