Barrier Date definition

Barrier Date means a date with respect to which the Calculation Agent determines whether a Barrier Level is reached or any other condition has occurred by reference to the level of an SGI Index whose only Basket Component “type” is specified as “Physical Commodity” and/or “Commodity Contract” in the Index Rules, and which includes each date specified as such in the applicable Offering Circular Supplement (or, if such date is not a Scheduled Trading Day, the next following Scheduled Trading Day). If a date is specified in the applicable Offering Circular Supplement as both a Barrier Date and a Valuation Date, it will be considered as a Valuation Date. Unless otherwise specified in the applicable Offering Circular Supplement, if a Barrier Date falls on a date which is not a Scheduled Trading Day in respect of all SGI Indices whose only Basket Component “type” is specified as “Physical Commodity” and/or “Commodity Contract” in the Index Rules specified in the applicable Offering Circular Supplement, it shall be postponed to the next following day which is a Scheduled Trading Day with respect to all such indices.
