As at the date of this announcement, COFCO is a substantial shareholder of the Company interested in approximately 29.10% of the total issued share capital of the Company, therefore COFCO together with COFCO Finance, COFCO Sunshine and Bapton which are subsidiaries of COFCO are connected persons of the Company pursuant to Chapter 14A of the Listing Rules.
Accordingly, the Board announces that the Company (or its subsidiary) entered into the New Agreements with COFCO, COFCO Finance, COFCO Sunshine or Bapton (as the case may be) on 23 November 2018 to renew the Existing Agreements.
