Bailiffs definition

Bailiffs district” means a district specified under section 6; “Court” means the Supreme Court of Tonga or any Court;
Bailiffs means the service provider(s) appointed by TfL from time to time to provide bailiff and debt enforcement services in relation to the Schemes;
Bailiffs means a fully certificated and court accredited officer capable of executing writs and processes and performing distraints, arrests and other similar activities on behalf of the Commission;

Examples of Bailiffs in a sentence

  • The Employer shall provide a ballistic vest to all new full time and part time Bailiffs.

  • Bailiffs are to be polite but firm were necessary in their dealings with the public and must avoid being provoked if resentment is shown by an individual.

  • Bailiffs must not misrepresent their powers, qualifications, capacities, experience or abilities.

  • All full-time and regular part-time Secretaries, Account Clerks I, II and III, Investigators and Enforcement Officers, BUT EXCLUDING, Court Stenographers, Executive Secretaries, Assignment Clerks, Bailiffs, confidential employees, all other part-time temporary, work study, seasonal and supervisory employees and all other employees of the Employer.

  • A-11.1 Temporary Sworn Bailiffs shall not be subject to Part 3 Chapter 37 Ordinance Code and may not file a grievance to challenge disciplinary action, but may challenge discharge only through the system provided in this article.

  • A-5.2 Temporary Sworn Bailiff Sergeants may be hired at a rate of 20% above the pay rate of Temporary Sworn Bailiffs.

  • The employees covered by this Agreement are classified as Temporary Sworn Bailiffs pursuant to Section 121.134, Ordinance Code, who do not have a property interest in their employment.

  • An employee shall be compensated for attendance at any mandatory training for Bailiffs.

  • All full-time and regular part-time Juvenile Probation Officers, Court Officers, Deputy Probate Register, Secretaries, Account Clerks and Clerk Typists, BUT EXCLUDING Court Recorders, Executive Secretaries, Bailiffs, confidential employees, all other part-time temporary, work study, seasonal and supervisory employees and all other employees of the Employer.

  • Temporary Sworn Bailiffs do not have a right to the Civil Service complaint/grievance procedure.
