BagIt definition

BagIt means a hierarchical file-packaging format designed to support disk-based storage and network transfer of arbitrary Content that ensures the integrity of each preserved digital object for durability.

Related to BagIt

  • Bag means a flexible packaging made of paper, plastics film, textiles, woven material or other suitable material;

  • Cart means a plastic Container with a hinged lid and wheels that is serviced by an automated or semi-automated Collection vehicle. A Cart has capacity of 20, 35, 64 or 96 gallons (or similar volumes).

  • PNode has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Stack means any point in a source designed to emit solids, liquids, or gases into the air, including a pipe or duct but not including flares.

  • Filter means material placed in the useful beam to preferentially absorb selected radiations.
