Backcharge definition

Backcharge means the amount of arrears in rent or other charges owed to the authority.
Backcharge means a credit assessed against one Trade Contractor, by means of a deductive Change Order, for damage done to or extra Work performed by Construction Manager, another Trade Contractor or Owner.

  • A/E Backcharge The charge assessed to an A/E by the Authority for reimbursement of added Contract costs or credits to earned fees due to the A/E’s errors or omissions that are beyond the Due Care.
