If the Contractor provides Back Door Service to a disabled Customer pursuant to Section 7.8, the Contractor shall be paid the Rate for Residential Collection Service to a Class I Customer, but the Contractor will not receive any additional Rate or fee for Back Door Collection Service.
The Contractor shall provide Back Door Service to a handicapped Customer, if (a) the Customer provides the Director with proof of their handicapped status in compliance with Section 320.0848(1)(b), Florida Statutes, (b) the Customer certifies to the Director that no able-bodied Person resides with the Customer, and (c) the Director instructs the Contractor to provide Back Door Service.
Back Door Service is a service that Contractor will provide at no extra cost to handicapped individuals provided they show proof with a doctor’s note and verification that no able-bodied persons reside at the residence requesting such service.
The Contractor may provide additional services such as Back Door Service for an additional fee.
However, the Contractor is not required to provide Back Door Service for the collection of Bulk Waste or Yard Waste.
The Contractor's employees shall not trespass on private property; provided, however, the Contractor's employees may walk on a Customer's property when necessary to provide Collection Service (e.g., Back Door Service) or hang a notice (e.g., a Non-Collection Notice; notice of property damage) on the Customer's doorknob pursuant to this Agreement.
The Contractor shall not charge or collect any additional fees for providing Back Door Service in compliance with this section.
The Contractor shall provide Back Door Service to the Customer on the scheduled collection day when Residential Collection Service would otherwise be provided to the Customer.
For each type of service for collection of Residential Waste discussed above, the Customer shall have the option to select either street-side service, or Back Door Service.
