BA Equivalent Loans definition

BA Equivalent Loans means, in relation to a Loan by way of BA Loans, an advance in Canadian Dollars made by a Non-Acceptance Lender pursuant to Section 2.14(i).
BA Equivalent Loans shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 3.5.

Examples of BA Equivalent Loans in a sentence

  • Each Non-BA Lender will not accept Bankers' Acceptances hereunder, and shall instead from time to time make BA Equivalent Loans to the Borrower.

  • As set out in the definition of Bankers’ Acceptances, that term includes Discount Notes and all terms of this Agreement applicable to Bankers’ Acceptances shall apply equally to Discount Notes evidencing BA Equivalent Loans with such changes as may in the context be necessary.

  • If any payment hereunder (other than payments on the Eurocurrency Loans, Bankers’ Acceptances or BA Equivalent Loans) becomes due and payable on a day other than a Business Day, the maturity of such payment shall be extended to the next succeeding Business Day, and, with respect to payments of principal, interest thereon shall be payable at the then applicable rate during such extension.

  • Any such notice of conversion to Eurocurrency Loans outstanding in Dollars, Bankers’ Acceptances or BA Equivalent Loans shall specify the length of the initial Interest Period or Interest Periods therefor.

  • Each such notice shall specify the date and amount of such prepayment and the Type(s) of Loans to be prepaid and, if LIBOR Rate Loans or BA Equivalent Loans, the Interest Period(s) of such Loans.

  • As set out in the definition of “Bankers’ Acceptances”, that term includes Discount Notes and all terms of this Agreement applicable to Bankers’ Acceptances shall apply equally to Discount Notes evidencing BA Equivalent Loans with such changes as may in the context be necessary.

  • For greater certainty, all provisions of this Agreement that are applicable to B/As shall also be applicable, mutatis mutandis, to BA Equivalent Loans, and notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, all references to principal amounts or any repayment or prepayment of any Loans that are applicable to B/As or BA Drawings shall be deemed to refer to the full face amount thereof in the case of B/As and to the principal amount of any portion thereof consisting of BA Equivalent Loans.

  • All payments in respect of Base Rate Loans, U.S. Index Rate Loans and LIBOR Rate Loans shall be made in Dollars, and all payments in respect of Canadian Prime Rate Loans and BA Equivalent Loans shall be made in Canadian Dollars.

  • Each Non BA Lender may, at its discretion, request in writing to the Canadian Administrative Agent and the Canadian Borrower that BA Equivalent Loans made by it shall be evidenced by Discount Notes.

  • BA Equivalent Loan any Loan in Canadian Dollars bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the BA Rate in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.

  • B/A Equivalent Loan has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.06(j).

  • Bankers’ Acceptance means a time draft or xxxx of exchange or other deferred payment obligation relating to a Commercial Letter of Credit which has been accepted by the L/C Issuer.

  • LIBOR Loans means a Loan or any portion thereof bearing interest by reference to the LIBOR Rate.

  • Canadian Loans means, individually and collectively as the context may require, the Canadian Revolving Loans, the Canadian Swingline Loans, the Canadian Overadvances and the Canadian Protective Advances.

  • Fixed Rate Loans means CD Loans or Euro-Dollar Loans or Money Market Loans (excluding Money Market LIBOR Loans bearing interest at the Base Rate pursuant to Section 8.01(a)) or any combination of the foregoing.

  • Eurodollar Loans Loans the rate of interest applicable to which is based upon the Eurodollar Rate.

  • Alternate Currency Loan means any Loan denominated in an Alternate Currency.

  • Canadian Prime Rate Loans means Loans for which the applicable rate of interest is based upon the Canadian Prime Rate.

  • LIBOR Rate Loans means Loans bearing interest at rates determined by reference to the Adjusted LIBOR Rate as provided in subsection 2.2A.

  • LIBOR Borrowing means a Borrowing comprised of LIBOR Loans.

  • Euro-Dollar Loan means a Committed Loan which bears interest at a Euro-Dollar Rate pursuant to the applicable Notice of Committed Borrowing or Notice of Interest Rate Election.

  • Canadian Revolving Loans means the Loans extended by the Canadian Revolving Lenders to the Canadian Borrower pursuant to Section 2.01(b).

  • Alternative Currency Daily Rate Loan means a Loan that bears interest at a rate based on the definition of “Alternative Currency Daily Rate.” All Alternative Currency Daily Rate Loans must be denominated in an Alternative Currency.

  • LIBO Rate Advances means a Competitive Bid Advance denominated in Dollars or in any Foreign Currency and bearing interest based on the LIBO Rate.

  • Eurocurrency Revolving Loan means any Revolving Facility Loan bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Adjusted LIBO Rate in accordance with the provisions of Article II.

  • Alternative Currency Loan means an Alternative Currency Daily Rate Loan or an Alternative Currency Term Rate Loan, as applicable.

  • Reference Rate Loan means each portion of a Loan that bears interest at a rate determined by reference to the Reference Rate.

  • Eurodollar Rate Borrowing means a Borrowing comprised of Eurodollar Rate Loans.

  • Canadian Base Rate Loan means a Canadian Loan that bears interest at a rate per annum determined by reference to the Canadian Prime Rate.

  • Index Rate Loan means a Loan or portion thereof bearing interest by reference to the Index Rate.

  • LIBOR Loan means a Loan or any portion thereof bearing interest by reference to the LIBOR Rate.

  • Eurocurrency Rate Advance means a Revolving Credit Advance denominated in Dollars or a Committed Currency that bears interest as provided in Section 2.07(a)(ii).
