B Shift definition

B Shift means the scheduled work hours of 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
B Shift means the working hours from 1500 to 2400 hours with one-hour meal break everyday from Mondays to Sundays including a General Holiday;

Examples of B Shift in a sentence

  • For Example - A "B Shift" employee assigned to a mobilization would receive their normal rate of pay for regular hours worked on B platoon days —excluding all scheduled ▇▇▇▇▇ Days, Vacation days and such.

  • B) Shift workers who serve on jury duty on regularly scheduled days off shall be granted compensatory time off, or overtime pay.

  • B) Shift vacancies that become available throughout the year, as determined by management, shall be posted.

  • All employees, except those assigned to the "B" Shift, shall receive a sixty five cent (0.65) per hour night shift differential pay for hours worked.

  • B Shift Bidding - All assignments shall be offered for seniority choice to be effective March 1st and September 1st of each year.

  • Both shifts shall contain two twenty minute breaks, rotate every four weeks and shall be the following hours: A Shift Monday – Thursday 7 a.m to 5 p.m. B Shift Tuesday – Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The hours outside the summer hours listed above shall consist of forty (40) hours, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. including one- half hour unpaid lunch period per day.

  • When the roster for the following tour is completed, evaluate the need Example: A Shift will request coverage for structural overtime for the following A Shift and the B Shift commander will award the overtime for the following A Shift.

Related to B Shift

  • Day Shift means a shift which commences at or after 6.00 am and before 10.00 am. "Afternoon shift" means a shift which commences at or after 10.00 am and before 4.00 pm.

  • Shift means a daily tour of duty exclusive of overtime hours.

  • Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before midnight.

  • Split shift means a work schedule, which is interrupted by non-paid non-working periods established by the employer, other than bona fide rest or meal periods.

  • Night Shift means a shift which commences at or after 4.00 pm and before 6.00 am on the day following.
