AVTA definition

AVTA means the Antelope Valley Transit Authority and its contractors and their sub-contractors.
AVTA or “AirVantage Telemetry Application” means the software application which must be installed on Systems in order to enable ARA functionality.

  • If AVTA finds goods furnished to be incomplete, unsatisfactory, defective, of inferior quality or workmanship, fails to meet the specifications or other requirements, or not in compliance with this PO, AVTA, at its sole discretion, may either reject the goods, require Contractor/Vendor to correct any defects without charge, or negotiate with Contractor/Vendor to sell the goods to AVTA at a reduced price, whichever AVTA deems equitable under the circumstances.

  • If Contractor is determined by the AVTA to be a sub-recipient of federal funds passed through the AVTA, the Contractor must submit an annual Federal Compliance Audit in conformity with the OMB Circular A-133, which applies the Federal Single Audit Act of 1984, Public Law 98-502, to non-profit organizations.

  • In the event of nonperformance under this PO, AVTA, after seven (7) business days written notice to the Contractor/Vendor, shall have the right to obtain from other sources such goods and/or services as may be required to accomplish the work not performed.

  • Contractor/Vendor shall observe and comply with all established federal, state, and local administrative rules, codes, ordinances, regulations, standards, and licensing or permitting laws applicable to the work under this PO regardless of whether or not they are referred to by AVTA in the Contract Documents.
