average remuneration definition
average remuneration means the average annual remuneration of a Member for the five consecutive years of his Eligibility Service after December 31, 1983, during which he received the greatest aggregate remuneration, as limited by Code Section 401(a)(17), from the Company or an Associated Company, excluding any remuneration for service after the last Plan Year with respect to which the Plan is top-heavy;
