Average EPS Growth definition

Average EPS Growth means a company’s average annual growth in earnings per share for the Performance Period, determined by taking the average of each individual year’s annual growth in earnings per share (measured by taking the average of each individual year’s earnings per share growth divided by three; not determined on an aggregate three-year basis) as determined by the Committee. Average EPS Growth of a component company in the Peer Group and of the Company shall be adjusted to take into account stock splits, reverse stock splits, and special dividends that occur during the Performance Period.
Average EPS Growth means the average increase in the Company’s EPS over the Performance Period, determined by averaging the percentage increase in EPS for each fiscal year in the Performance Period. The Committee shall certify Average EPS Growth as soon as practicable after the end of the Performance Period.

  • For this purpose, the EPS for any partial fiscal year shall be annualized (e.g., multiplied by 4/3 if the partial period is three quarters) before determining EPS Growth for that partial fiscal year, and the Average EPS Growth shall be determined by averaging however many full and partial fiscal years for which an EPS Growth percentage shall have been determined.

  • The percentage of Target Award Performance Units earned between threshold and target and target and maximum Average EPS Growth is based on interpolation, as set forth on Schedule A.

  • Once Average XXX and Relative Average EPS Growth are determined, the Corporate Performance Factor is calculated using the table below.

(c) The Award shall vest on an accelerated basis under certain circumstances, as provided in Section 2 and Section 3 below.

  • If the Company implements a change in accounting principle during the Performance Period either as a result of issuance of new accounting standards or otherwise, and the effect of the accounting change was not reflected in the Company’s business plan at the time of approval of this award, then Average EPS Growth and Average ROCE shall be adjusted to eliminate the impact of the change in accounting principle.

  • Average EPS Growth is the simple average of EPS Growth in each of the two fiscal years in the Performance Cycle.

  • First Conversion Date means the date of the Committee’s or the Board’s certification of the Company’s Average EPS Growth and Average Net Sales Growth for the Performance Cycle, but no later than September 15, 2009.

  • CAGR means compound annual growth rate;

  • Index Level means, in respect of any day and subject to Adjustment Provisions: (a) in respect of an Index(other than a Multiple Exchange Index), the closing level of such Indexat the Valuation Time on such day; and (b) in respect of an Index that is a Multiple Exchange Index, the official closing level of the Index on such day at the Valuation Time as calculated and published by the Index Sponsor each as rounded up to four decimal places (with 0.00005 being rounded up), allas determined by the Calculation Agent.

  • Weighting factor wT for an organ or tissue (T) means the proportion of the risk of stochastic effects resulting from irradiation of that organ or tissue to the total risk of stochastic effects when the whole body is irradiated uniformly.
