Automatic Generation Control (AGC) definition

Automatic Generation Control (AGC) means a mechanism that automatically adjusts the generation of a control area to maintain its Interchange Schedule Plus its share of frequency response;
Automatic Generation Control (AGC) means equipment that adjusts a balancing authority’s generation in a balancing authority’s area from a central location to maintain the balancing authority’s frequency or interchange schedule plus or minus frequency bias.
