Autoload means the agreement between the cardholder and the Bank that the cardholder can use the online Autoload equipment (the EasyCard add value machine (AVM) and the small-cost terminal equipment; the offline devices in the MRT, Maokong Gondola, the Taiwan Railway and the parking lot: they ▇▇▇’t have the automatic value added function; any modification or additional area will be based on the announcement on the EasyCard Corporation’s website) to automatically add a certain amount of money to the EasyCard while automatically debiting from the specified account of the Debit EasyCard, when the money is not enough to pay for the current expense transaction or when the stored amount is less than NTD100; the effect of the automatic value added is the same as the Smart Pay transaction of the cardholder's VISA ATM card.
Autoload means Cardholder arranged with the Bank that in using Easy Debit Card, if due to insufficient stored value for paying current consuming or with value lower than NTD100, Cardholder may autoload certain money value into EasyCard from Easy Debit Card’s designated account within amount limit via autoload equipment (currently i.e. Easy Card AVM and small amount consuming terminals; not available on off- line equipment in MRT, Maokong Gondola, TRA and parking lots; please refer to any amendment in website of EasyCard Corporation). Cardholder’s autoloading is equivalent as consuming by Debit Card.The Easy Debit Card cannot be used to take Taiwan High Speed Rail.
Autoload. Refers to the agreement between the cardholder and the Bank that, when using the VISA Debit EasyCard, if the amount of the stored value is insufficient to pay for the current purchase or is less than NT$100, online autoload devices (currently, EasyCard Add- Value Machine (AVM) and small-purchase terminals; non-online autoload devices at MRT stations, the Maokong Gondola, Taiwan Railway and parking lots do not provide the autoload service; if there is a change in the devices listed above, the EasyCard Corporation's website announcement shall prevail) to automatically add a specific value to the EasyCard, within the VISA Debit EasyCard’s designated limit; the automatic value addition is equivalent to the cardholder's debit card purchase value.

  • To use the Autoload service, the cardholder needs to activate both the debit card and the Autoload function.

  • Autoload can not be de-activated after it has been activated by the cardholder.

  • Within 45 working days after the card is reported lost, the Bank will collect back any amount it has prepaid for Autoload top-ups into the misused card from the balance maintained on record by Easycard Corporation as of three hours after the lost is reported.

  • However, if the record shows a negative balance as of three hours after the loss report, the cardholder shall agree to treat this negative balance as an ordinary purchase and have it collected by the Bank from the cardholder's designated account, regardless of whether the Autoload function is active.
