Authorized Application definition

Authorized Application has the meaning set forth in Exhibit 1 to this Addendum (such Exhibit being incorporated by reference into this Addendum).
Authorized Application means a device application or a media player that meets all of the following requirements: (a) is implemented, operated and controlled by Licensee (or by an Authorized Vendor on behalf of Licensee), (b) is branded solely with the Crackle brand, (c) operates on, and permits delivery of Licensed Programs to, solely the applicable Permitted Device, and does not allow delivery of Licensed Programs to any other device or application, (d) implements a Security Solution to protect the Licensed Programs from unauthorized access, distribution and use, (e) checks the version and signature of the firmware and the operating system of the device seeking playback, and does not allow playback of any Licensed Program if the firmware or operating system is unauthorized (e.g., if the device is rooted or jailbroken) or if the device or media player has a known content security issue for which an update is available, (f) forces security upgrades to the device application or the media player promptly upon such upgrades becoming available if they address a known content security issue (i.e., access to the Program Service and Licensed Programs on that particular device is suspended unless the user promptly upgrades to the latest authorized version of the Authorized Application when there is a known security problem), (g) enforces the content protection requirements set forth in this Schedule, and (h) is revocable by Licensee on an individual Permitted Device by Permitted Device basis and on a class of Permitted Devices basis.
Authorized Application means solely the Application defined in Exhibit A or extensions outlined therein.

Authorized Application means a device application that meets all of the following requirements: (a) is implemented, operated and controlled by Licensee (or an Authorized Vendor on behalf of Licensee) or by an Authorized Distribution Partner, (b) is branded solely with a brand of Licensee or an Authorized Distribution Partner, (c) operates on, and permits delivery of Licensed Episodes to, solely the applicable Permitted Device, and does not allow delivery of Licensed Episodes to any other device or application, (d) implements the OTT Security Solution authorized herein for the applicable Permitted Device to protect the Licensed Episodes from unauthorized access, distribution and use, (e) checks the version and signature of the firmware and the operating system of the device seeking playback, and does not allow playback of any Licensed Episode if the firmware and/or operating system is unauthorized (e.g., if the device is rooted, jailbroken or tampered with) or has a known content security issue for which an update is available, (f) enforces the content protection requirements and Usage Rules set forth in this Schedule, and (g) is revocable by Licensee on an individual device by device basis and on a model by model basis [Device by device revocation is neither always possible nor desirable for software players since ideally want to revoke the entire version and force a global update]. The Authorized Servers shall force security upgrades to an Authorized Application promptly upon such upgrades becoming available if they address a known security issue (i.e., access to the Program Services on that particular Permitted Device shall be suspended unless the user promptly upgrades to the latest authorized version of the Authorized Application which addresses that known security issue). Authorized Application means the use of a Royalty Bearing METROLOGIC Product (as defined by corresponding specific product categories (i) through (vi) respectively in Section 1.83), in the specific field of use under which such products are covered by the license with respect to such product granted in Article 3, and on which METROLOGIC has paid all applicable royalties pertaining to such product category or categories and field of use.
Authorized Application has the meaning set forth in Exhibit 1 to this Addendum (such Exhibit being incorporated by reference into this Addendum). “Licensed API” has the meaning set forth in Section 2. “Licensee” means each Orbitz Worldwide Agency and Distribution Partner. OWW shall be responsible for causing each Licensee to comply with all applicable provisions of this Addendum and shall be liable under the Agreement for any failures by the Licensee to do so. “Travelport Content Hub Pricing Table” means the pricing table in Exhibit 1 applicable to booking activity in the Air Content Hub (“ACH”), Rail Content Hub (“RCH”), or any other content hub available in the uAPI and as maintained by Travelport in accordance with this Addendum. “uAPI” or “Universal API” means the application programming interface and connectivity tools that enables a subscriber to access, shop and book travel from multiple sources using the Authorized Application and which is marketed as the Travelport Universal API™ as such product may be modified during the term of and in accordance with this Addendum. The “uAPI” shall include without limitation the uAPI as it exists as of the Agreement Date and any and all additional versions or functionality that may be added after the Agreement Date. “uAPI Segment” means a reservation that is made directly via the uAPI to access content in the Worldspan GDS, the Apollo GDS, the Galileo GDS, the ACH, the RCH or any other content hub that becomes available in the uAPI for the services of an air, car, hotel, cruise, rail or tour supplier. A rail reservation on a rail supplier in the RCH counts as 1 uAPI Segment, regardless of the number of passengers traveling or the number of connections in the reservation. Travelport will determine the number of uAPI Segments from its books and records, subject to Subscriber’s audit rights described in Section 16 of the Agreement.

  • Completed application means an application in the form and number and containing all the information required pursuant to 34 Administrative Code 9.1053 (Entity Requesting Agreement to Limit Appraised Value), that has been determined by the district and the comptroller to include all minimum requirements for consideration.

  • Customer Application means an application or any set of applications that adds primary and significant functionality to the Embedded Capabilities and that is not primarily a substitute for any portion of Microsoft Power BI services.

  • Mobile Application means a specialized software program downloaded onto a wireless communication device.

  • Authorized Instructions shall have the meaning set forth in Section 1.5.
