Attributed Lives definition

Attributed Lives means a Medicare Beneficiary who is assigned to ACO and that qualifies to be included in the Shared Savings calculation performed under the Next Gen Model.

Examples of Attributed Lives in a sentence

  • Attribution is done at the rendering provider level; any ACO Participant that includes at least one ACO Provider/Supplier with Attributed Lives must have an exclusive Participant relationship with one ACO.

  • Such records shall include such documentation as may be necessary to monitor and evaluate the quality of care and to conduct medical or other health care evaluations and audits to determine, on a concurrent or retrospective basis, the medical necessity and appropriateness of care provided to Attributed Lives.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the ACO Agreement, Participant and Preferred Provider will be paid for services provided to all BCBSVT Primary Program Attributed Lives in accordance with their provider agreements with BCBSVT.

  • As provided in policies, prospectively set payments may be adjusted to reflect evolving circumstances such as changes in the number of Attributed Lives, changes in service offerings by providers or other factors applied to minimize reconciliation payments at the end of the Performance Year.

  • The notification should be sent to initially Attributed Lives in the first quarter of 2014 if beneficiary lists have been provided to Contractor.

  • Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to offer an inducement to Preferred Provider or a Provider to forego providing medically necessary services to Attributed Lives.

  • The Attributed Lives are subsequently assigned to Providers or Practices based on their relationships with the Attributed Life for health care services.

  • Next Generation Providers/Suppliers, Next Generation Affiliates, Preferred Providers and Providers agree to become and remain accountable for the quality, cost and overall care of Attributed Lives.

  • These activities will be performed for the 2019 cohort of High and Very High Risk Attributed Lives pursuant to Program Agreements that continue or are renewed for Performance Year 2020.

  • Each Participant hospital will bear the risk of losses and receive savings on the Attributed Lives within their Healthcare Service Areas (HSA) up to a Maximum Risk Limit and Maximum Sharing Limit (MRL).
