Associated Bodies definition

Associated Bodies means Accredited Institutions, Affiliated Institutions and any other bodies or institutions with which the University has an association pursuant to Article V(j) of the Charter.

Examples of Associated Bodies in a sentence

  • Total and Permanent Disability means that the Relevant Person has, in the opinion of the Board, after considering such medical and other evidence as it sees fit, become incapacitated to such an extent as to render the Relevant Person unlikely ever to engage in any occupation with the Company or its Associated Bodies Corporate for which he or she is reasonably qualified by education, training or experience.

  • A person who is not a party to this Contract shall not have any rights under or in connection with it, except that UK SBS and any member of the UK SBS, Associated Bodies or Authorised Entities that derives benefit under this Contract may directly enforce or rely on any terms of this Contract.

  • Associated Body Corporate means: (a) a body corporate that is a related body corporate of the Company; (b) a body corporate that has Voting Power in the Company of not less than 20% and that has been approved for participation in the Plan by the Company; or (c) a body corporate in which the Company has Voting Power of not less than 20% and that has been approved for participation in the Plan by the Company, and Associated Bodies Corporate means all such bodies corporate.

  • Group Company means the Company or any of its Associated Bodies Corporate.

  • Subject to the provisions of the Articles and to any restrictions imposed on any class of membership, the notice shall be given to all the Members, Affiliated Clubs, Associated Bodies, the Directors and auditors.

  • For the avoidance of doubt each Party shall be entitled to disclose such information where necessary to its insurers or reinsurers, actuaries, auditors, professional agents and advisers and other Associated Bodies.

Related to Associated Bodies

  • Associated Persons means the directors, employees (whether full-time, part-time or casual), Related Bodies Corporate, agents, contractors, advisors and owners of Tabcorp and the Venue Operator, respectively, (as is applicable).

  • Associated Companies : means any agent with delegated authority under Section 20 of these Terms and Conditions.

  • Associated Gas means the gas cap overlying a crude oil accumulation in a reservoir.

  • Associated Business means a business that owns at least 50% of and controls, directly or indirectly, an authorized business.

  • Associated Party means, if used to indicate a relationship with a person or company

  • Associated Services means equipment and services, asked for, along with work over unit in this bid document. These include but not limited to mud engineering, equipment & services; camp/catering/ medical services, communication, safety & fire fighting services well control services etc.

  • Shareholder Associated Person of any Shareholder means (i) any person controlling, directly or indirectly, or acting in concert with, such Shareholder, (ii) any beneficial owner of shares of stock of the Corporation owned of record or beneficially by such Shareholder, and (iii) any person controlling, controlled by or under common control with such Shareholder Associated Person.

  • Affiliated Association means an Association accorded the status of an Affiliated Association under the rules of The FA.

  • Related Body Corporate has the meaning given in the Corporations Act.

  • Authorities means the various governmental and quasi-governmental bodies or agencies having jurisdiction over Seller, the Real Property, the Improvements, or any portion thereof.

  • Organizations means entities, and the individuals that work for them, that provide services, or seek to provide services, to individual clients through the Adviser’s relationship with the client. Examples include brokers, consultants, companies that the Adviser researches for possible investment, and companies in which the Adviser invests for client accounts.

  • associated facilities means all associated track structures, over and under track structures, supports (including supports for equipment or items associated with the use of the Network), tunnels, bridges, train control systems, signalling systems, communication systems and associated plant, machinery and equipment from time to time but only to the extent that such assets are related to or connected with the Network but does not include any sidings or yards;

  • Clients means the Janus Funds and other individual and institutional advisory clients of Janus.

  • Scientists means employees who are university graduates in the Natural Sciences, the Applied Sciences, Mathematics or Computer Sciences, who are not classified as professional engineers, and who are engaged in the application of this specialized knowledge in the course of their employment. This definition includes all incumbents in positions identified under the heading of “Scientists” listed in Attachment A to Appendix I entitled “Utilization and Advancement of Professional Engineers and Scientists” in this Agreement. “Scientists” includes employees who satisfy these criteria and who are required to perform supervisory functions.

  • Woman owned business means a woman owned business that is a continuing, independent, for profit business which performs a commercially useful function, and is at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned and controlled by one or more women; or, in the case of any publicly owned business, at least fifty-one percent (51%) of the stock of which is owned and controlled by one (1) or more women and whose management and daily business operations are under the control of one (1) or more women.

  • Women Owned Business Enterprise or "WBE" means a firm awarded certification as a women owned and controlled business in accordance with City Ordinances and Regulations as well as a firm awarded certification as a women owned business by Cook County, Illinois. However, it does not mean a firm that has been found ineligible or which has been decertified by the City or Cook County.

  • Stockholder Associated Person of any stockholder means (A) any person controlling, directly or indirectly, or acting in concert with, such stockholder, (B) any beneficial owner of shares of stock of the Corporation owned of record or beneficially by such stockholder or (C) any person directly or indirectly controlling, controlled by or under common control with such Stockholder Associated Person.
