Associate Lecturer definition

Associate Lecturer means an Educator who performs the duties of an Associate Lecturer prescribed in section A2.8 of Appendix 2.

Examples of Associate Lecturer in a sentence

  • This provision shall not apply to NTT faculty with the title Associate Lecturer/Clinical Associate Lecturer.

  • Faculty who are employed on a part-time basis, including those holding the title Associate Lecturer/Clinical Associate Lecturer, shall be entitled to appropriate fringe benefits in accordance with state rules, regulations or statutes.

  • The academic ranks of Lecturer, Associate Lecturer and Senior Lecturer are reserved for FTNTT Faculty members who have not earned a terminal degree in their discipline, but whose professional experience and demonstrated performance warrant these ranks.

  • The four semesters of continuous service at 50% or greater in the title of Associate Lecturer/Clinical Associate Lecturer that led to this conversion shall be counted toward the faculty member’s eligibility for continuing appointment.

  • Whenever possible, all NPAB representatives should hold at least the rank of Associate Professor or Associate Lecturer.

  • The ranks of Associate Lecturer and Clinical Associate Lecturer shall not be counted among the progressive ranks of non-tenure-track titles.

  • All service in the title of Associate Lecturer/Clinical Associate Lecturer shall be counted toward the converted faculty member’s eligibility for promotion to Senior Lecturer/Clinical Senior Lecturer, with the stipulation that an Associate Lecturer/Clinical Associate Lecturer converted to Lecturer/Clinical Lecturer shall not be eligible for the title of Senior Lecturer/Clinical Senior Lecturer without at least three years of full-time-equivalent service in the rank of Lecturer/Clinical Lecturer.

  • As noted in Article II, Section 1.A., of this Agreement, FTNTT Faculty members hold appointment at one (1) of the following six (6) academic ranks: Lecturer, Associate Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

  • This provision shall not apply to NTT faculty with the title Associate Lecturer/Clinical Associate Lecturer, except as specified below in 21.8.3.

  • When the combination of academic credential and demonstrated appropriate experience and professional contribution would warrant appointment within the academic unit at the rank of Associate Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor, the University, in its sole discretion, may appoint new FTNTT Faculty members at those ranks.

Related to Associate Lecturer

  • Lecturer means a member of the staff of the University College who is, in terms of appointment, a professor, an associate professor, senior lecturer, lecturer, assistant lecturer, or tutorial assistant, or a person who holds any other teaching post which the Council has recognized as a post having academic status in the University College;

  • Associate Member means a person appointed to perform specific statutory and non-statutory duties which have been delegated by the Trust Board for them to perform and these duties have been recorded in an appropriate Trust Board minute or other suitable record.

  • Associate Members means the individuals or firms which have agreed to Joint Venture in connection with the Project;

  • Associate degree means the credential awarded by a school upon the successful completion of an associate degree program. The program must contain a minimum of ninety quarter credit hours or sixty semester hours.

  • Classroom teacher means a teacher subject to annual performance evaluation review under the provisions of Education Law Section 3012-c.
