Associate Coach definition
Associate Coach means an individual coach (or Coach in training) who is not affiliated or registered with any one club but who applies to the Provincial Section to become registered as an Associate Coach (registration type E) solely for the purposes of enrolling in coach education opportunities or receiving coach related communications from CSCTA, a Provincial Section or Swimming Canada;

Associate Coach positions may be utilized in Category AAA, AA, A, or B.
The purpose of the Associate Coach positions is to facilitate the involvement of new staff members into extra-curricular positions when all paid positions are filled.
Those missed hours will need to be made up, via paid one-on-one sessions with the trainer, should trainees desire to pursue ICF accreditation, as ICF requires 48 face-to-face trainer hours for accreditation as an Associate Coach.
Subject to the other provisions of this Agreement, Associate Head Coach shall devote his full time, skill, and attention to the performance of his duties as Associate Coach.
