Assigned Work is the work, including layovers and off-duty by time, most recently assigned to all drivers by an authorized representative of the Employer in accordance with these regulations. “Reporting location” is the place at which a driver is assigned to report for the first report of a shift.

Examples of Assigned Work in a sentence

  • MOBILIZATION/ DEMOBILIZATION: IDL will reimburse the Contractor for availability, flight time and FSV mileage for mobilization and demobilization costs to and from the Assigned Work Location.

  • Payment for availability, flight time and FSV mileage begins when the aircraft is released from the Assigned Work Location.

  • Payment for availability, flight time and FSV mileage begins when the aircraft starts its mobilization flight from the Contractors Base of Operations or the Aircraft’s Point of Hire, whichever is less, to the Assigned Work Location and ends upon arrival at the Assigned Work Location (including airports, etc.).

  • Assigned Work or Work Assignment: work that is assigned by the University to be performed by a Component I employee during the term of employment.

  • The University will supply IT equipment, non-IT equipment, and office supplies, at its discretion, only for the employee’s primary Assigned Work Location, be it on- campus or remote.

  • Certain adaptations may be necessary in how supervisors communicate expectations and assignments, and provide ongoing assessment and feedback, due to the fact that the employee with approved remote work arrangement is not always physically present in the regular Assigned Work Location.

  • The Employee is required to check in with the shift Supervisor or Manager at the Assigned Work Location on travel days, and may be assigned duties on travel days.
