assessee means a person by whom any tax or any other sum of money is payable under this Act, and includes—
Assessment means determination of tax liability under this Act and includes self-assessment, re-assessment, provisional assessment, summary assessment and best judgement assessment;
Assessments means Claims of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada or of any province or territory or municipality or any other Taxing Authority in any Canadian or foreign jurisdiction, including amounts which may arise or have arisen under any notice of assessment, notice of objection, notice of reassessment, notice of appeal, audit, investigation, demand or similar request from any Taxing Authority;
Censure means an expression of disapproval of a licensee's or registrant's professional conduct, which conduct is not necessarily a violation of this act or a rule promulgated or an order issued under this act.
Investigations The Xxxxxxx, when requested by one or a number of employees whom he/she represents, may investigate the basis for any dispute arising under this Agreement and may, at any stage, assist the employee(s) in seeking resolution of such dispute through the grievance procedure provided herein. A staff representative of the Union may substitute in place of the Xxxxxxx at the third step (Agency Head) or sooner if the agency is represented by other than the supervisor or intermediate supervisor. The Union may substitute a Union staff person in place of the Xxxxxxx if the Xxxxxxx is not available.
Indicator means a quantitative or qualitative factor or variable that contributes to better understanding progress in implementing;
identifier means information that a user:
measure means any measure by a Party, whether in the form of a law, regulation, rule, procedure, decision, administrative action, or any other form;
Assessed Property means any Parcel within the District against which an Assessment is levied.
Assessment area means an area, or, if more than one area is designated, the
Studies means activities needed to prepare project implementation, such as preparatory, mapping, feasibility, evaluation, testing and validation studies, including in the form of software, and any other technical support measure, including prior action to define and develop a project and decide on its financing, such as reconnaissance of the sites concerned and preparation of the financial package;
Indigenous Peoples Safeguards means the principles and requirements set forth in Chapter V, Appendix 3, and Appendix 4 (as applicable) of the SPS;
Charges shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 9.09.
Delinquency means any payment under an order for support which becomes due and remains unpaid;
Estimate means to be based on technical evaluation of the sources contributing to the discharge including, but not limited to, pump capabilities, water meters, and batch discharge volumes.
Internal Costs means the costs associated with each Council providing internal Council resources in relation to the City Deal which includes but is not limited to:
