Assembly district definition
Assembly district means an Electoral district for the election of a member of the Legislative Assembly;
Assembly district means a district] [created pursuant to the provisions of chapter 218 of NRS for the election of members of the Assembly.] "Petition district" has the meaning ascribed to it in section 2 of this act.
Assembly district and/or “AD” shall mean a political subdivision based on the number of representative seats in the New York State Assembly. The number of seats is determined by dividing the state population into groups of approximately 119,000 individuals. Presently, there are 61 Assembly Districts in the City of New York.
