Assay Data definition

Assay Data any data generated pursuant to analyses of the Samples or other Materials (including but without limitation any data variables derived from the analysis of combination(s) of any Data or Assay Data), irrespective of whether such Assay Data is generated (a) by or on behalf of UK Biobank (in which case it is UK Biobank Assay Data) (b) by the Applicant or (c) other third party. Collaborator: the Collaborating Institution.
Assay Data means all data (including both positive and negative data) and Databases arising from CACHE’s experimental testing of Challenge Compounds, including without limitation summary and primary data on protein binding affinitiy (e.g., via surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy and/or such other orthogonal techniques as may be appropriate in the circumstances, such as isothermal calorimetry), as well as on other characteristics as may be relevant (as determined by CACHE in its discretion) to the particular CACHE Challenge, for example selectivity, solubility, lipophilicity, etc.
Assay Data means raw or normalized assay data generated by or on behalf of Supplier using a SomaLogic Assay on one or more Samples in the course of conducting the Services and excludes SomaLogic Control Data. "Authority" means the person identified in the letterhead of the Order Form; "Authority Cause" any breach of the obligations of the Authority or any other default, act, omission, negligence or statement of the Authority, of its employees, servants, agents in connection with or in relation to thesubject-matter of the Contract and in respect of which the Authority is liable to the Supplier; "Central Government Body" means a body listed in one of the following sub- categories of the Central Government classification of the Public Sector Classification Guide, as published and amended from time to time by the Office for National Statistics:a) Government Department;b) Non-Departmental Public Body or Assembly Sponsored Public Body (advisory, executive, or tribunal);c) Non-Ministerial Department; ord) Executive Agency; "Charges" means the charges for the Deliverables as specified in the Order Form; "Confidential Information" means all information, whether written or oral (however recorded), provided by the disclosing Party to the receiving Party and which (i) is known by the receiving Party to be confidential; (ii) is marked as or stated to be confidential; or (iii) ought reasonably to be consideredby the receiving Party to be confidential; "Contract" means the contract between (i) the Authority and (ii) the Supplier which is created by the Supplier’s counter signing the Order Form and includes the Order Form and Annexes; "Controller" has the meaning given to it in the GDPR; "Date of Delivery" means that date by which the Deliverables must be delivered to the Authority, as specified in the Order Form; "Data Protection Legislation" i) The GDPR, the LED and any applicable national implementing Laws as amended from time to timeii) The Data Protection Act 2018 to the extent that it relates to processing of personal data and privacy;iii) all applicable Law about the processing of personal data and privacy;

Examples of Assay Data in a sentence

  • Results Data: the data generated and derived by the Applicant, other than any Assay Data, which underlie the Results.

  • SomaLogic shall also provide, at Client’s expense, all assistance reasonably required by Client to defend, assert or otherwise enforce any patent rights claiming or disclosing Assay Data IP, including without limitation by executing documents, providing documents, affidavits or witness testimony.

  • SomaLogic expressly agrees not to analyze the Assay Data: (i) [****], (ii) [****], (iii) [****], or (iv) [****] (collectively, (i) to (iv) are referred to herein as “Excluded Activities”).

  • At Client’s request, Genaissance may, but is not obligated to, furnish technical assistance, advice and information with respect to Assay Data in addition to the technical assistance, advice and information specified in The Response, if and to the extent that such advice, assistance and information is conveniently available.

  • Notwithstanding the obligation to destroy Confidential Information at Client’s request as set forth in Section 4.2 of the MSDS, the obligation to return or destroy or render unrecoverable Assay Data does not include Assay Data that is maintained on routine computer system backup tapes, disks, or other backup storage devices so long as the backup Assay Data is not accessed, used, disclosed, or recovered from the backup devices without the written consent of Client.

  • Client shall not intentionally use any Assay Data to reverse engineer, or attempt to reverse engineer, any SomaScan Technology or algorithm used by SomaLogic to deliver algorithm-based proteomic test results to Client at any time during or after the Term in connection with Samples used to generate that Assay Data.

  • Client will have the sole right to prepare, file, defend and enforce patent rights claiming or otherwise disclosing any Assay Data IP.

  • Other than as expressly set forth in these Terms and Conditions and the Schedules attached hereto, Genaissance makes no representations, warranties or guarantees regarding the Assay Data supplied by Genaissance to Client, or the use of, or the results of the use of such Assay Data, or the performance of the Services.

  • As between the Parties, Client shall and hereby does solely own all right, title, and interest in and to (1) the Assay Data and Deliverables and (2), except as contemplated below with respect to SomaScan Technology Improvements, all results or other information or intellectual property created or generated using the Assay Data, whether or not it is patentable or subject to other forms of intellectual property protection (collectively (1) and (2), the “Assay Data IP”).


More Definitions of Assay Data

Assay Data means the genotypes, haplotypes and related data generated by Genaissance from WSU patient samples as set forth in the “Proposal for ▇▇▇▇▇ State University in response to RFP - Genotyping” and dated January 9, 2003 (hereinafter “The Response”). Client shall mean WSU. Genaissance shall mean Genaissance Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Services shall mean all genotyping and other services to be performed by Genaissance for Client as set forth in The Response.
Assay Data and "Formatted SNP Data" means the raw data produced by Orchid's performance of the Genotyping Services, including SNP conversion data and Genotyping results. Assay Data does not include any data derived from the one million genotypes used for Formatting ("Formatted SNP Data"), other than whether the SNP passed or failed. Information pertaining to these one million genotypes will be available upon request from the JSC..
Assay Data means the drill hole assay data upon which the Feasibility Study is based;
Assay Data means all CUSTOMER assay or research plans, methods, objectives, results or analyses, DNA sequences, polymorphisms, genes, experimental protocols, genotyping results and other information relating to CUSTOMER's use of the System.
Assay Data shall have the meaning specified in Section 5.3.

Related to Assay Data

  • Study Data shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.1.

  • Assay means a laboratory analysis of Crude Petroleum to include the following: A.P.I. Gravity, Reid vapor pressure, composition, pour point, water and sediment content, sulfur content, viscosity, distillation, hydrogen sulfide, flash/boiling point and other characteristics as may be required by Carrier.

  • Raw Data means the primary quantitative and empirical data first collected from experiments and clinical trials conducted within the scope of this CRADA.

  • Product Data are illustrations, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, and other information furnished by the Contractor to illustrate materials or equipment for some portion of the Work.

  • Data means recorded information, regardless of form, the media on which it is recorded, or the method of recording.
