ASAM level 3.7 definition

ASAM level 3.7 means Medically Monitored High-Intensity Inpatient Services for adolescents and Medically Monitored Intensive Inpatient Withdrawal Management for adults. This level of care provides twenty-four (24) hour nursing care with physician supervision and medication availability. This level of care is appropriate for individuals withdrawing from alcohol or other drugs with subacute biomedical and emotional, behavioral, or cognitive problems severe enough to require inpatient treatment but for whom hospitalization is not necessary. This level of care is appropriate for individuals withdrawing from alcohol or other drugs with subacute biomedical and emotional, behavioral, or cognitive problems severe enough to require inpatient treatment but for whom hospitalization is not necessary. Examples of ASAM level 3.7 in a sentence

  • The Contractor shall manage a beneficiary’s transition of care to a DMC-ODS provider when that beneficiary has received, and no longer requires, inpatient SUD services (ASAM level 3.7 and 4.0 services) in a subcontracted Chemical Dependency Recovery Hospital (CDRH) or Acute Freestanding Psychiatric hospital.

  • The Contractor shall manage a beneficiary’s transition of care to a DMC-ODS provider when that beneficiary has received, and no longer requires, inpatient SUD services (ASAM level 3.7 and 4.0 services) in an acute care hospital, or another Fee for Service (FFS) facility.

  • Pricing Level II shall exist on an Adjustment Date if the Consolidated Leverage Ratio for the relevant period is less than 3.50 to 1.00 but greater than or equal to 3.00 to 1.00.

  • Pricing Level IV means at any time the Borrower’s Senior Debt Rating is (a) BBB+ or higher by S&P or (b) Baa1 or higher by Moody’s, and Pricing Levels I, II and III are not applicable.
