As-built Model definition
As-built Model means the building information model(s) that fully captures the as-built conditions of the project & contain the relevant as-built drawings and data required. “BIM” means building information modelling and is the process and technology used to create a Model. “BIM Execution Plan” means the latest plan outlining the procedures and modelling protocol prepared in accordance with Clause 4. “BIM Manager” means the person, firm or corporation appointed by the Architect as BIM Manager, approved by the University. “BIM Coordinator” Means the person, firm or corporation appointed as the key coordinator on all BIM matters for the project.Each Consultant and the Contractor is required to appoint at least one (1) BIM Coordinator for the project. “Building Information Model” or “Model” means a digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of the Project, used to describe a two dimensional representation, three dimensional representation, a Model Element (that is, a portion of the Model representing a component, system or assembly within the Project or Project site), a single Model or multiple Models used in aggregate or in federation, as well as other data representations, including Drawings, as identified in the BIM Execution Plan, defined by the Model Author and/or BIM Manager during model exchange and/or submittals. “Contribution” means the expression, design, data or information that a party in the Project creates or prepares, and shares with other parties in the Project for use in or in connection with a Released Model. Contribution includes Released Model(s). “Drawings” means two dimensional representations, hand sketches, perspective views or other graphical outputs printed physically orelectronically.
