Artificial Traffic definition

Artificial Traffic is a collective term for invalid Clicks, Leads and Transactions, which may originate (for example and without limitation) from: automatic openings and/or redirects, spiders, robots, adware and/or spyware, requests in e-mail or chat rooms, script generators, placing links on other websites than informed, the automated redirection of visitors from mistyped or misspelled domain names, Clicks which are not generated by a browser, Clicks which are not preceded by an active act of a Visitor who wants to reach a certain website.
Artificial Traffic also known as fraudulent traffic. A collective term for invalid Conversions, which may originate (for example without limitation) from automatic openings, spiders, robots, requests in email or chat rooms, script generators, placing links on websites other than those informed and Clicks which are not generated by a browser or Clicks which are not preceded by an active act of a visitor who wants to reach a specific website.

Examples of Artificial Traffic in a sentence

  • The Publisher must not in any way generate or contribute to generating Artificial Traffic to Linked Websites.

  • The Publisher acts fraudulently or illegally in any way or the Publisher generates or tries to generate Artificial Traffic to Linked Websites or the Publisher in any other way breaches any of the provisions of this Agreement.

  • If ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇ determines the Publisher has knowingly engaged in or facilitated Artificial Traffic, then ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇ may consider such engagement a material breach of this Agreement and, in addition to its other rights and remedies, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇ may terminate this Agreement effective upon notice and withhold payment up to the amount generated through Artificial Traffic.

  • After these 10 days have passed, the invoice is deemed to be accepted totally without the right of Advertiser to address issues regarding the inaccuracy thereof (including on the basis of suspected Artificial Traffic).

  • Publisher shall take commercially reasonable steps to prevent such Artificial Traffic by blocking IP addresses and/or Publisher's user accounts associated with such Artificial Traffic.

  • The Affiliate may not generate or contribute to the generation of Artificial Traffic.

  • After these 10 days have passed, the invoice is deemed to be accepted totally without the right of Client to address issues regarding the inaccuracy thereof (including on the basis of suspected Artificial Traffic).

  • In the event that a third party, including an advertiser, a government or governmental body, (attempts to) submit(s) a claim with iQU relating to Artificial Traffic, Publisher hereby agrees that it will indemnify iQU and will hold iQU harmless against such claim.

  • The Publisher will be liable for damages and/or costs as a result of his involvement with Artificial Traffic.

  • OFFERGLOBE will only investigate an addressed issue regarding Artificial Traffic detected by Client within 10 (ten) days of the date of the thereto relating invoice.
